Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolAnton Markov is a Senior Software Developer with over a decade of hands-on experience in embedded systems, hardware-software co-design, and performance optimization, currently contributing to AR/XR, Stadia developer tools, and Gmail at Google. He brings deep proficiency in modern C++ and Go, a full-stack embedded skillset from bootloader and kernel to user-space services, and pragmatic experience with Python, Java, and C#. Anton’s career blends startup and large-tech experience—spanning Kaleidescape and RapidMind to long-term roles at Google—enabling him to move quickly from low-level bring-up to reusable system architectures. He is particularly strong at squeezing latency and resource gains out of constrained systems and designing reusable architectures for long-lived products. Based in Kitchener, Ontario, he combines a University of Waterloo background in CS and computational math with a curiosity for algorithm design and hardware integration that surfaces in cross-domain problem solving.
