Top SchoolAnton Shevchenko is a Principal Software Engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience building scalable, cloud-native RESTful APIs and infrastructure-as-code platforms for startups and enterprise clients. He excels at taking ambiguous business problems from concept to automated, PCI/HIPAA-compliant production systems, combining backend engineering, DevOps, and data analytics. As an early engineer at multiple startups and a long-term technical lead, he has built payment gateways, large-scale ad and video platforms, and robust data ingestion pipelines that launched new product lines. Comfortable leading small teams or working solo, Anton repeatedly delivers predictable, replicable cloud architectures using Terraform, Redis/Celery, Elasticsearch, and comprehensive CI/CD. He pairs engineering depth (low-level drivers to distributed back ends) with business-focused optimization—helping companies monetize traffic, streamline operations, and scale efficiently. Based in Boston, he also brings a creative perspective from running a freelance photography/videography business alongside his engineering career.
