Top SchoolAntonio Bastos is a senior engineering advisor and software engineer with 12 years of experience blending product-focused design roots with deep technical delivery across frontend, backend and cloud-native systems. Educated at PUC‑RJ, UFRJ and currently expanding into AI product design at MIT, he bridges rigorous academia with hands-on execution across startups and public companies. He has led engineering culture transformations—introducing monorepos, micro-frontends, CI/CD, blue/green releases and serverless architectures—to accelerate delivery and reduce failure blast radius. Antonio mentors distributed teams, advises cross-functional stakeholders, and helps founders and product managers translate AI/ML potential into user-centered, production-ready services. A pragmatic builder, he moved multiple mobile native apps to React Native, launched enterprise AI platforms and integrated complex payment and analytics stacks. Based in Rio de Janeiro, he combines a designer’s sensibility with an operator’s discipline to make ambitious AI products practical and scalable.
