Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAntonio Liccardo is a senior software developer and solution architect with 15 years of professional experience building web applications, databases, and DevOps workflows from Naples, Italy. He has a long history with Ruby and Rails (and Sinatra), maintains the Documatic Ruby library for OpenDocument generation, and prefers object-, message- and function-oriented design approaches. His career spans academic and enterprise environments—from architecting university web and database systems to delivering solutions for Citel Group/Fiven—giving him fluency across MS SQLServer, Oracle, and Linux-based stacks. Antonio combines hands-on development with project management and systems administration, having worked in everything from low-level C and Clipper systems to modern web frameworks. A pragmatic engineer, he often bridges legacy enterprise databases and contemporary Ruby web tooling, making him effective at modernizing systems without losing operational stability. His long-term maintenance of open tooling like Documatic hints at a preference for practical, reusable developer solutions rather than one-off scripts.
