Top SchoolAnurag Ghosh is an AI researcher and engineer with 11 years of experience advancing real-world intelligent systems, currently pursuing MS/PhD work at Carnegie Mellon University as a Graduate Research Assistant. He blends deep academic training from IIIT Hyderabad with hands-on industry R&D at Microsoft (AI Fellow and Research Intern) and applied research roles at CVIT and Verisk. His work centers on computer vision and embodied intelligence—summed up wryly on GitHub as "PhDing in Vision and Stuff"—reflecting a curiosity-driven, experimental approach to problems. Anurag has contributed to both open-source and research-driven projects (including contract development for Boost C++ Libraries), giving him strong systems-level coding skills alongside theoretical depth. Based in Pittsburgh, he combines rigorous research methods with practical engineering to move prototypes toward deployable, real-world solutions. Colleagues describe him as someone who sees the messy edge cases first and designs models and systems that work there.
