Anurag Jakhotia is a Consultant in Computer Vision with 12 years of experience applying robotics and perception research to real-world systems across industry and academia. He specializes in 3D geometry, SLAM, structure-from-motion and sensor fusion, bringing deep expertise in linear and non-linear optimization to deployable perception stacks for autonomous vehicles and AR. His career spans research roles at Carnegie Mellon and applied engineering at Carnegie Robotics, Snap Inc., and now BlueSpace.ai, where he focuses on scalable, production-ready vision solutions. Trained as a roboticist (BTech IIT Mandi, MS Robotics & Computer Vision CMU), he combines mechanical-system intuition with algorithmic rigor—often translating complex multi-sensor math into robust field systems.

ajakhotia/units

Jun 2018 - May 2021

A type-safe representation of units with zero-run-time overhead. This library decouples the physical dimensions from the units themselves there by allowing to inter-convert between different systems such as SI and Imperial. The system allows for non-integer rational powers of physical dimensions as well(eg: L^2.5)
