Top SchoolAnurag Saxena is a Senior Software Engineer based in Mountain View with over a decade of experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale systems that handle 30+ million requests per day. He has strong expertise in distributed systems, search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr, Lucene), XMPP/Openfire, and cloud-native back-end architectures, with hands-on work at Google, PayPal, and Domino Data Lab. Anurag blends machine learning enthusiasm—proven by top Coursera performance and familiarity with SVMs, neural nets, and computer vision—with practical engineering in Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Spark, and Java/Scala stacks. He has built high-availability compute and risk platforms, led product architecture and deployment strategies, and mentored teams while hiring talent. Notably, his background spans both algorithmic areas (genetic algorithms, Matlab) and real-world platform reliability, giving him a rare mix of research-minded problem solving and production-hardened delivery.
