Summary
🤩
RockstarAnway De is a Production Engineer based in Chicago with three years of hands-on experience building and operating containerized systems, HPC environments, and distributed computing platforms. He specializes in Linux, Kubernetes, and container runtimes, and has applied these skills at Jump Trading to deliver a scalable, production CVMFS publishing solution that reduced resource use and sped up delivery. Comfortable across Go, Python, C++, and C, he has a particular curiosity for low-level behavior of operating systems, filesystems, and kernels—work he reinforced while creating container-on-HPC tooling during an internship. At St. Olaf College he led cluster management and built a Kubernetes-based parallel deployment environment, and as an undergraduate researcher he improved a topological data analysis tool, showing both systems and algorithmic interests. Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and curious, he blends backend engineering with performance-minded infrastructure design to turn complex distributed problems into reliable production services.
