Top SchoolAria Khoshnood is a Senior Backend Software Engineer with eight years of experience building AI-powered backend systems, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows using Node.js/TypeScript and increasingly Rust for safer, high-performance services. Based in Muscat, she has progressed from full-stack and frontend roles to specialized backend work, shipping production LLM-powered research agents that help academic users extract insights and evaluate scientific literature. She excels at modernizing and optimizing legacy systems for stability and scalability while designing retrieval-augmented and agentic architectures that integrate OpenAI and other LLM providers. A practical problem-solver, she co-developed the popular MerlyBot Discord music bot early in her career, demonstrating both engineering and product sensibilities. Comfortable across the stack, she pairs curiosity-driven learning with hands-on delivery and a willingness to adopt emerging languages and patterns to reduce runtime risk.
