Top SchoolAriel Hirschberg is a Senior Software Engineer based in Berkeley with eight years of experience building software-defined electronics and language-driven tooling at JITX. A UC Berkeley CS graduate, Ariel combines deep algorithmic curiosity—especially around approximations for NP-complete problems—and a pragmatic, hands-on approach to system design and circuit automation. At JITX he accelerates PCB design workflows to reduce errors, while past internships at Facebook and GE Digital show a track record of improving product metrics and cross-service features. He pairs coding chops (including CI and testing work in previous roles) with sparks of program management and project leadership from TAMID and TPM experience. Known for an obsession with edge cases and logic puzzles, Ariel brings rigorous attention to correctness to both software and hardware-adjacent problems. Colleagues describe him as the kind of engineer who can dive into tricky algorithms and also ship reliable, production-ready tools.
