Top SchoolArina I is a Data Science Strategy Consultant in Seattle with 10 years of experience turning messy, sensitive, and high-risk data into actionable insight across startups, nonprofits, and product teams. She combines rigorous statistical inference, NLP, network analysis and ML with hands-on Python, visualization (D3/Plotly) and frontend skills to produce reproducible, ethically grounded proofs-of-concept and MVPs. Her background includes research-driven roles at Thorn and PeakMetrics where she led investigative studies into online harm and misinformation, and built narrative-detection and data-quality systems. Arina prioritizes research stewardship, data versioning, and bias reduction, and she’s practiced at translating technical findings for non-technical stakeholders and shaping team-level MLOps and data governance. She thrives on deep work, candid collaboration, and hackathon-style exploration to surface creative, evidence-based solutions. Beyond the typical data scientist skillset, she brings domain experience in dark web research, EMR/health data and fraud detection, enabling high-stakes, impact-focused analytics.
