Summary
Arindam Ghosh is an early-stage researcher and bioinformatician with eight years of experience blending dry-lab computational analysis and hands-on wet-lab techniques. Currently based at the University of Eastern Finland, he designs pipelines for toxicogenomic and RNA-seq datasets within an EU Horizon 2020 project and is pursuing a PhD in Molecular Medicine. Previously he led network biology analyses of human pluripotency as a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Allahabad and supervised master’s students on dissertation projects. His technical repertoire spans RNA-seq, metagenomics, molecular modelling and basic molecular biology, with applied interests in plastic degradation, landfill microbiomes and bioenergy. Comfortable moving between code and the bench, he brings practical lab experience to inform bioinformatics workflows and experimental interpretation. Open to opportunities from October 2020 onward, he combines cross-disciplinary curiosity with project-oriented pipeline development.
