Top SchoolArithran Thurairetnam is a Staff Software Engineer based in Los Angeles with 11+ years building and leading teams that deliver high-performance, cost-efficient platforms processing hundreds of billions in annual volume. He has a strong track record migrating large NodeJS estates to Go, redesigning caching and core services to cut containers by 70%, slash latency to single-digit milliseconds, and boost throughput 10–20x for major live events. Comfortable partnering with executives, he scopes multi-year programs, defines KPIs, and shapes architecture and budget decisions while still writing zero-allocation algorithms and performance-driven libraries. His background spans consumer-scale streaming at Fox, enterprise APIs and authentication at ADP, and bespoke real-time systems for large events, reflecting both hands-on engineering and cross-functional leadership. An early career full-stack and systems builder, he brings a pragmatic mix of product thinking, operational rigor, and deep systems optimization experience.
