Top SchoolArkya Chatterjee is a theoretical physicist and Research Assistant Professor with a decade of experience translating between lattice models and continuum quantum field theory using generalized symmetries. Based at the C. N. Yang Institute for Theoretical Physics after completing a PhD at MIT, Arkya blends deep analytic techniques with computational intuition to study quantum matter. His trajectory includes international collaborations and visiting research roles, signaling comfort working across institutions and methodologies. Beyond research, he has a strong teaching and mentorship background from IIT Bombay, reflecting a commitment to training the next generation. Colleagues know him for connecting abstract symmetry concepts to tangible lattice constructions, making formal ideas practical for condensed-matter and high-energy applications.
