Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolArmando Ortiz is a Full Stack Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable web platforms across Tokyo, Los Angeles, and now Barcelona. He has deep hands-on expertise modernizing legacy monoliths into hybrid architectures (Python/Flask → Node/NestJS + TypeScript/React) while improving CI/CD, cost-efficiency, and multi-tenant hosting on AWS. At startups he has accelerated stalled projects, shipped real-time features (WebSockets/Socket.IO), and designed no-code automation tools that empower nontechnical users to model complex workflows. Currently studying Architecture and Urbanism with a thesis on climate-resilient urban design, he uniquely blends software engineering with urban systems thinking and seeks roles at the intersection of cities, climate resilience, and technology. US citizen based in Spain (NIE) and open to sponsorship, he is available for hybrid/on-site roles in Spain or remote work for US employers.
