Senior🎓
Top SchoolArmel Yara is a data scientist and developer advocate from Côte d'Ivoire with eight years of experience building end-to-end AI products that blend computer vision and time-series analysis. Grounded in bioinformatics and a professional computer science degree, he has led product development at The Day Info, creating customer-facing solutions like Horus Eye and Trafic Day while overseeing editorial quality. As Machine Learning Abidjan Lead he grows an open-source community, runs certification programs, and mentors practitioners—translating community learning into production projects. Technically fluent in Python, TensorFlow/Keras and Google Cloud, he excels at turning messy road and environmental data into actionable insights and deployable apps. Less obvious: he pairs hands-on model work with front- and back-end development and deployment, making him as comfortable shipping mobile/web applications as tuning ML pipelines.
