Top SchoolArshia Moghimi is a DevOps Team Lead with eight years of experience building cloud-native systems and leading platform teams, currently at Varonis after AllTrue.ai’s acquisition. He specializes in AWS, Terraform, and backend/system software, and has a strong research-to-production track record from UBC where he cut serverless cold-start overheads and led Parrotfish to reduce function costs by ~25%. Arshia combines hands-on engineering—recovering critical identity infrastructure and building HRM systems—with strategic cost and security optimizations for cloud applications. He’s adept at moving computation closer to data to improve performance and reduce costs, a pattern he applied in computational chemistry workloads. Based in Greater Vancouver, he pairs academic rigor from UBC and Sharif University of Technology with practical startup and enterprise experience. Colleagues know him for pragmatic automation that drives measurable operational improvements.
