Senior🎓
Top SchoolArtem Chernyshov is a software engineer and Medical Technology PhD based in Trondheim with eight years of experience building low-compute deep learning solutions for medical image analysis, focused on fast and efficient models for echocardiography. He developed research-grade pipelines for right ventricle detection, segmentation, and motion tracking during his PhD at NTNU and now applies that expertise to AI and data analysis at SonoFit. His background in robotics and nanoelectronics informs a systems-minded approach to model optimization and deployment on constrained hardware. Artem has experience bridging academia and industry—from teaching and research roles to consultancy on emerging decentralised identity trends—bringing both rigorous evaluation and practical product thinking to clinical AI. An uncommon strength is his focus on ultra-efficient architectures that enable real-time interpretation of heart ultrasound where compute and latency matter most.
