Summary
👤
SeniorArtem Garkusha is a Senior Software Engineer based in Amsterdam with nine years of hands-on mobile and backend experience, currently building at Adyen after shaping Android experiences at Booking.com and DPG Media. He specializes in Android SDK performance, modular architectures, and modern UI with Jetpack Compose, while also driving server-driven UIs, GraphQL/REST integrations, and data-driven A/B experimentation. A disciplined tester, he brings strong unit and integration testing practices to ensure resilient releases. Ambitious to become a full-stack developer, Artem pairs mobile-first engineering with backend curiosity and a continuous-learning mindset informed by a master's in radiophysics. Less obvious: his career blends early test automation and Java EE foundations with cutting-edge mobile state management (MVI/MVVM), giving him a rare cross-layer perspective on app performance and scalability.
