Senior🎓
Top SchoolArtem Kazakov is a Staff Software Engineer based in Bellevue with 13 years in software development and six years building scalable distributed systems at big tech companies. He combines a strong algorithmic foundation from competitive programming with hands-on expertise across Python, C/C++, Rust, Kotlin, PHP and JavaScript, enabling rapid iteration on both infrastructure and product surfaces. At Meta he led projects that prevented major site incidents and built a security logs pipeline with measurable reductions in critical events; he later moved into high-scale roles at Moloco and DoorDash. Artem has entrepreneurial roots—founding tools and startups that automated event scoring and e-commerce operations—so he pairs systems-level engineering with product thinking. He excels at leading small teams through complex migrations and reliability work, and is comfortable diving into almost any language or stack to unblock delivery.
