Top SchoolArthur Simas is a computer engineering researcher and backend-focused software engineer with 8 years of experience building cloud-native applications and production infrastructure from end to end. Based in São Paulo, he blends academic rigor—as a PhD candidate at UNICAMP—with hands-on delivery at companies like SMARTNESS and Dadosfera, working on microservices, ELT pipelines (Airflow + Snowflake), and identity integrations (OAuth/SAML). He moves comfortably between Python, TypeScript/NodeJS, and cloud platforms (AWS, Oracle Cloud), and has implemented interactive mobile mapping and energy-efficiency research projects using React Native and ML techniques. Known for modernizing legacy systems, improving test coverage, and shipping secure user-management features, he often bridges research prototypes to production-ready services. An unexpected strength is his teaching and tutoring background, which sharpens his ability to explain complex systems and mentor peers.
