Top SchoolArthur Tofani is a Senior Full Stack Developer and PhD candidate in Computer Science focused on Computer Music, bringing 14+ years of hands-on experience and over a decade of expertise with Ruby on Rails. He builds scalable, secure web and microservice architectures—recently delivering cloud-native fraud prevention and audio-analysis services using Django, FastAPI, and containerized Azure deployments. His research in Information Retrieval and Music Information Retrieval has produced publishable work and practical systems like audio fingerprinting, recommendation engines, and text search integrations that power production web apps. Comfortable moving between research-grade algorithms (Numba, Pandas, scikit-learn) and production engineering, he also designs data pipelines and interactive analytics (Plotly) for product teams. Based in São Paulo, he combines formal music training and CS rigor to solve problems at the intersection of audio, search, and scalable backend systems.
