Top SchoolArun Poonia is a cloud and infrastructure strategist with nine years of experience helping large enterprises design, migrate, and operate high-scale, consumer-facing and media workloads. At Oracle he partners with executives and engineering teams to translate complex architectural decisions into operationally realistic, measurable strategies for multi-region deployments, capacity planning, and AI readiness. His practical bent—prioritizing what survives real production load and organizational constraints—drives solutions that balance performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability. Arun has built automation and IaaS tooling, led GPU and non-GPU workload rollouts on OCI, and created developer-focused curricula to accelerate cloud adoption. Based in Sacramento, he combines deep systems and networking roots (from early roles in SD-WAN, F5, and ASIC design) with a talent for turning proofs-of-concept into repeatable, supportable platforms.
