Top SchoolAsa Miller is a design-minded engineer and two-time YC founder with 11 years building full-stack, safety-critical products for families. He founded Genie (YC S24), leading product, engineering, and trust-and-safety to scale a COPPA-compliant, multimodal AI companion to 22,000+ families in under six months. Previously as CTO and co-founder of Brave Care he architected EHR-integrated clinic systems and scaled teams and operations to support 50,000+ pediatric visits and 200,000+ parent interactions. Asa specializes in turning 0→1 visions into production systems that balance innovation, privacy, and regulatory compliance across child-focused domains. Now at Brex as a Design Engineer, he brings hands-on product engineering experience plus a rare combination of childhood healthcare domain knowledge and generative-AI safety expertise. Quietly, he pairs character-driven UX craft with rigorous content-moderation architecture—making playful experiences that parents can actually trust.
