Senior🎓
Top SchoolAsbjørn Kjær is a senior software engineer and systems specialist with 12+ years of experience building and securing cloud infrastructure for large entertainment companies. He began in ISP operations and evolved into roles at CCP and Riot Games where he managed public game clusters, developed Chef automation, and authored Riot’s open-source Cloud Inquisitor for multi-account AWS governance. More recently he has driven systems engineering at The Walt Disney Studios and now Amazon Studios, focusing on scalable AWS management, security tooling, and centralized account operations. Comfortable at the intersection of ops, security and tooling, he pairs hands-on scripting and automation with a strong customer-facing background that helps translate complex issues for non-technical stakeholders. Based in Los Angeles, he brings practical, production-proven experience running high-availability services for global audiences. A subtle strength is his long history of moving between front-line support and platform engineering, giving him rare empathy for both operators and developers.
