Aseem Gupta
Summary
👤
SeniorAseem Gupta is a founder and CTO with a decade of experience building product-focused engineering teams and scalable web platforms, currently leading SuperKalam (YC W23) to create a 1-1 AI educator and personal mentor for UPSC aspirants. He combines hands-on frontend expertise from Razorpay—where he shipped payments, platforms, and lightweight Svelte/React experiences—with repeated founder experience building creator and learning ecosystems at qoohoo and SuperKalam. Comfortable across full-stack product delivery, Aseem has a track record of turning complex operational needs into polished, testable UIs and disciplined systems. He favors practical engineering choices (React, Svelte, robust unit testing) and has repeatedly owned end-to-end products from solo-built internal tools to YC-backed startups. Based in Bengaluru with a B.E. from BITS Pilani, he blends startup grit with product sensibility and a clear focus on affordability and accessibility in education. An ode to his approach: he builds products people love to use, not just lines of code.
