Top SchoolAsh Shaw is a founder and seasoned web technologist with over two decades of digital design and development experience, currently leading LightSpeed — a remote-first agency that builds high-performance, user-focused WordPress and WooCommerce sites for travel and tourism. He combines hands-on engineering (from Linux and system administration roots to modern block-based WordPress development) with design-system thinking, shipping an open-source LSX Design System that maps Figma tokens to theme.json for faster, accurate handoffs. A community-minded speaker and contributor, Ash has presented at WordCamp Europe, appeared on industry podcasts, and shares workflows publicly to improve accessibility and project delivery. He embraces emerging AI tooling—GitHub Copilot, VS Code extensions and agent protocols—to streamline code reviews and release cycles, blending pragmatic automation with thoughtful UX. Based in Cape Town, he mentors other practitioners and prioritizes processes that reduce launch risk while keeping projects on schedule.
