Top SchoolAsha Abdullahi is a full-stack developer and community builder with nine years of experience blending hands-on web development (Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React) with training and mentorship. As co-organizer of Rails Girls Mombasa she has run multiple hands-on workshops that demystify tech for women, and as a lead trainer and Microverse reviewer she’s guided dozens of learners from first lines of code to deployed apps. Her background includes ICT operations at the County Government of Mombasa, giving her practical skills in networking, user support, and production tooling like Heroku and Git. Curious and collaborative, she excels at remote pair-programming and team coaching, and she volunteers regularly to teach and learn from others. Outside work she’s an avid baker and traveler, a detail that surfaces in her patient, iterative approach to mentoring and product polish.
