Top SchoolAshley Austin is a Senior Software Engineer II based in Los Angeles with six years of full-stack experience focused on JavaScript (ES6+), React, Redux/FLUX, and modular Node.js backends. At Boulevard she progressed through multiple engineering roles, demonstrating rapid technical growth and ownership of scalable UI/UX improvements and developer tooling. She favors unidirectional data flow and modular server logic to reduce complexity, improve performance, and minimize redundant network calls. Her projects include tooling to detect memory leaks using Puppeteer and Chrome DevTools Protocol, custom heap-visualization components, and an npm package for hot reloading and optimized builds. Comfortable across the stack, she pairs pragmatic engineering with a continuous-learning mindset and a knack for turning diagnostics into actionable developer-facing features. Prior experience in project engineering and customer-facing systems gives her a practical appreciation for operational constraints and product usability.
