Top SchoolAshley Baldry is a Senior Data Scientist with 11 years’ experience building production-grade R and Shiny solutions that drive product strategy, improve user engagement, and automate clinical-trial workflows. She has led and mentored teams of data scientists to deliver scalable, containerised applications with CI/CD on Azure, and is skilled at performance tuning—optimising rendering and load times via lightweight Plotly.js and custom bookmarking. Equally comfortable as a hands-on refactorer and a strategic lead, she has a track record of reducing processing times by over 90% and simplifying complex ETL and app dependency surfaces. Known for clear, maintainable code and strong cross-functional communication, she prioritises knowledge transfer, defensive programming and reproducibility. Based in Basingstoke, she combines statistical rigour from a BSc in Statistics with practical devops and front-end know-how to create usable analytics products that stakeholders actually adopt.
