Top SchoolAshley Kleynhans is a Lead DevOps & Infrastructure engineer based in South Africa with over 25 years in software engineering and a decade focused on DevOps leadership and infrastructure. He has driven cloud migrations, containerization, and scalable IoT and payments platforms across startups and enterprises, most recently leading DevOps at Three Commas after senior roles at FNB and multiple product companies. Hands-on with Linux, Docker, AWS, networking and automation, he has real-world experience fixing installation and service automation issues in prominent open-source tooling such as Spinnaker/Halyard. Known for improving operational resilience—implementing replay systems, custom monitoring, and secure VPNs—he blends system architecture with pragmatic developer-focused processes. He pairs technical breadth from embedded and backend systems to enterprise messaging with a track record of mentoring teams and establishing repeatable deployment practices. A practical problem-solver, he often prefers engineering durable fixes (kernel tuning, systemd automation, permission hardening) over brittle workarounds.
