Top SchoolAshok Soma is a Senior Software Engineering Manager based in Hyderabad with 7 years of focused experience in low-level firmware and bootloader development for ARM-based SoCs. He has led complete U-Boot projects across Xilinx/AMD platforms (Zynq, ZynqMP, Versal families) and has deep hands-on expertise in porting Linux, developing bare-metal applications, and implementing drivers for SPI/QSPI/OSPI, Ethernet, SD/eMMC and watchdogs. His career spans embedded systems roles at AST SpaceMobile, AMD, Broadcom and earlier firms where he repeatedly delivered board bring-up, ROM-boot solutions and kernel driver ports. Known for combining managerial leadership with in-the-weeds technical ownership, he often bridges product timelines by writing firmware, assembly and automated test scripts himself. An understated strength is his track record of navigating large-company acquisitions while preserving continuity of complex platform software.
