Top SchoolAshok Soni is a technical engineering director with 15 years of embedded systems and product development experience, known for converting complex business requirements into deployable firmware and software solutions across mobile, SoC, IoT and ESL domains. He has deep expertise in motion-sensor firmware, sensor fusion, touch-controller drivers, FOTA/GOTA and device management systems across Android, Linux and proprietary OS platforms. As a hands-on leader he builds and aligns cross-functional, multi-location teams, drives go-to-market engineering for SoluM’s IoT products, and bridges technology with sales and executive strategy. His background includes senior engineering roles at Samsung and Motorola, plus practical prototyping with Arduino, Odroid and OpenGL-based mobile GPU vision work, reflecting a blend of rapid experimentation and production-grade delivery. Unusually for a director, he still contributes to reverse-engineering and proof-of-concept builds, pairing patent review and architecture skills with day-to-day firmware coding.
