Top SchoolAshutosh Desai is a CEO coach and seasoned founder-engineer with 13 years of experience helping seed to Series C startups scale product, team, and go-to-market efforts. He founded and ran Make School—building an accredited bachelor’s program, pioneering income share agreements, fundraising, policy work, and hands-on product development—then advised 150 YC startups as a Visiting Partner with a focus on devtools, deeptech, education, and fintech. Today he coaches founders of companies valued between $20M and $500M and concurrently builds music technology and artist tools as an engineer at Alphabet. He blends operator grit with technical fluency, moving between boardroom strategy and debugging production issues on motherboards. Based in San Francisco, he is comfortable with fundraising, curriculum design, and early-stage scaling problems, and brings a rare mix of policy, education, and product-building experience to founder coaching.
