Senior🎓
Top SchoolAshvini Jindal is a Senior Applied Research Engineer specializing in NLP, ML, and deep learning with 13 years of experience building end-to-end production systems at LinkedIn and prior roles at Samsung and IPsoft. He has hands-on expertise in core NLP tasks—text classification, dependency parsing, NER, dialogue systems and voice technology—and strong software skills in C++, Java, Python, NumPy and TensorFlow. At LinkedIn he has worked on content quality, anti-abuse, virality prediction and extreme-classification user modeling for job search, while mentoring UCSC NLP capstone students on multilingual reverse-dictionary systems. He bridges research and product: presenting workshops and bringing research papers into deployable solutions (e.g., phonetic name-matching for mobile and episodic-memory dialogue models in production). Based in the Bay Area, he combines practical production deployments with an appetite for reading and applying the latest NLP research and is actively exploring reinforcement learning.
