Top SchoolAsier Barrenetxea is a pragmatic full-stack software developer and tech lead with 13 years of experience delivering high-quality, test-first solutions across .NET, JavaScript, mobile (Xamarin) and cloud/serverless platforms. Based in Madrid, he has a strong track record at consultancies like Equal Experts and ThoughtWorks, guiding teams through Agile and XP practices—pair programming, TDD/BDD, continuous delivery and Kanban—to replace legacy systems and ship frequent production deployments. He’s comfortable across the stack from API design and backend optimisation to single-page apps and automated end-to-end testing, and has repeatedly helped organisations transition to higher engineering standards. Beyond coding, he regularly mentors teammates, introduces XP practices into broader IT organisations, and thrives in partially remote, fast-deploy environments.
