Top SchoolAsim Iqbal is a founder and CEO with a decade of experience at the intersection of machine learning and neuro healthtech, currently building Tibbling Technologies to deliver NeuroAI multimodal intelligence. He combines deep academic roots—MS/PhD work at ETH Zürich and a postdoc at EPFL—with industry stints from Google X’s NeuroMoonshot to leadership roles in startups and therapeutics. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine, he bridges cutting-edge research and translational applications in neurodegeneration and brain-inspired AI. His hands-on background includes deploying scalable deep learning for 3D brain imaging, AlphaFold-driven drug discovery, and building VAE-based multimodal embeddings. Not obvious from the title: he has repeatedly moved between academia and industry to operationalize research into products and platforms, including co-founding Wizlabs AI and leading ML efforts at Cajal Therapeutics. Based in Seattle, he focuses on turning complex neuroscience data into actionable medical and ML solutions.
