Top SchoolAssen Totin is a multidisciplinary IT and telecommunications leader with over 15 years of hands-on experience delivering infrastructure, cloud automation, and data platform solutions across Europe. He blends deep technical mastery—from UNIX/Linux operations, databases (MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle), networking and voice systems—to product-focused engineering and full-stack development in C, Python, JavaScript and more. As a former MariaDB senior R&D engineer and consultant and current operations lead at CURADEN and MarchFirst, he routinely bridges sales engineering, architecture and execution for complex distributed systems and datacenter operations. Beyond engineering, he has run finance, HR and legal functions in telco settings, giving him a rare operational perspective on budgeting, M&A and regulatory compliance. Known for building resilient, clustered platforms and for mentoring multi-disciplinary teams, he also holds full RIPE certification and a background in reserve officer training that informs his disciplined, systems-oriented approach.
