Top SchoolAstamur Kirillin is a Technical Lead with 11 years of experience designing and operating real-time data streaming platforms, currently building near-real-time vehicle fleet pipelines. He has led platform-level work at Wise and AWS—creating a common API over Kafka Streams/Flink, a Kubernetes operator for streaming pipelines, and contributing to Apache Flink—so he combines hands-on engineering with operational ownership. His background spans cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS), large-scale messaging (Kafka, Kinesis), and backend systems in Kotlin/Java, with practical experience applying streaming to fraud detection, billing, and media analytics. Based in Kazan, he pairs a pragmatic, cheerful workstyle with deep experience in productionizing stream processing at scale. An early teacher of algorithms and multiple languages, he brings both mentorship instincts and a knack for turning complex integration challenges into reusable platform solutions.
