Top SchoolAta Sasmaz is a Staff Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building resilient, high-scale production systems and leading cross-team adoption of shared infrastructure. Currently focused on AI & MLOps infrastructure at DataRobot, he has a proven track record of shrinking deployment times, automating CI/CD, and operating 1K+ node clusters to enable rapid, reliable releases. Comfortable across Python, Go, Java/JS, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud platforms, he blends software engineering with ops discipline to drive observability, reliability, and incident excellence. He has repeatedly simplified complex systems—most notably re-architecting Etsy’s deployment pipeline from minutes to seconds—and brings a research-minded approach from earlier EU-funded work on optimization. Based in Dublin, he champions clear documentation and high-performance team cultures while maintaining a habit of shipping personal projects on GitHub that reflect his DevOps-first lens.
