Summary
🤩
RockstarAtefeh Mohseni is a software engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area with six years of experience building secure, cloud-native systems and developer tooling. She holds an MS in Computer Science from UCSB and has combined research-grade security work—deploying dynamic whitelisting on reconfigurable switches and training DNNs to detect benign packets—with industry roles at Google, Aerospike, and currently Harness. Her background spans full-stack product delivery, systems and database work (including an Oracle internship), and leadership of a security-focused mobile app that won a startup competition. Comfortable moving between research, cloud analytics (BigQuery, PySpark), and production engineering, she brings a data-driven approach to reducing operational load and automating pipelines. Notably, her graduate research achieved a 70% NIDS ingress load reduction and 99% benign-packet detection accuracy, reflecting an uncommon blend of applied ML and network security expertise.
