Top SchoolAthanasios G is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with 9 years of hands-on experience architecting and operating Linux-centric, open-source cloud platforms across finance, government, and enterprise. He has built infrastructure from scratch—designing GCP and Kubernetes-based solutions, IaC with Terraform/Pulumi, and CI/CD migrations—while improving observability and security for teams at CERN, the European Commission, and major banks. Known for pragmatic automation (Python, Go, Ansible) and for shrinking operational complexity—examples include a firewall automation framework and a privacy-proxy for WebRTC—he accelerates team velocity and reduces MTTR. Based in Zurich, he combines deep platform engineering with practical InfoSec integrations, and often surfaces value by refactoring legacy tooling into scalable, maintainable pipelines.
