Top SchoolAtharva Patil is a self-driven software engineer with 10 years of experience building web and mobile front-ends, microservices, and ML/NLP solutions, now working at Moody’s Ratings after completing an MS in Computer Science at NC State. He has led cross-platform React Native apps in startups and freelancing engagements, owned end-to-end delivery, and chosen pragmatic cloud stacks like Supabase for real-time needs. His research at NC State’s AI Assisted Learning Lab combined NLP and code-vector analysis to recommend worked examples for programming students, contributing to a peer-reviewed conference paper. Comfortable across the stack—from pixel-perfect mobile UIs to Django backends and deployment pipelines—he balances product thinking with hands-on execution. At early-stage companies he wore multiple hats, including interviewing, intern mentorship, and UX improvements, reflecting a bias for ownership beyond coding. Based in Charlotte, he blends academic research experience with practical startup and enterprise engineering.
