Top SchoolAtul Prasad is a Senior Software Engineer based in the New York City area with 11 years of experience building production-grade systems across machine learning and full‑stack web engineering. He began his career designing NLP and TensorFlow models to extract and classify company information, then transitioned to complex web platforms where he shipped features, optimized backend performance, and built entity extraction systems at Everlaw. Now at Sigma, he blends research-minded curiosity about neural networks with pragmatic engineering—comfortable across Java, Python, TypeScript, Django, and PostgreSQL. Notably, he has hands-on experience turning ML prototypes into APIs and data pipelines that keep models current in production. His background in math and CS from the University of Chicago underpins a disciplined approach to both model design and scalable software architecture.
