Senior🎓
Top SchoolAu Hao is a data leader with nine years of hands-on experience building self-serve data platforms, ML systems, and the engineering organisations that run them. Currently Head of Data at Ryt Bank in Kuala Lumpur, he has led teams through rapid scaling—growing MoneyLion’s data engineering org from 3 to 15+ engineers—and architected production ML with CI/CD, monitoring, and optimized inferencing. He combines a strong quantitative foundation (BSc MORSE, Warwick) with practical BI and data engineering roots, having built NoSQL→SQL adapters, data pipelines, and analytics infrastructure early in his career. Known for instilling sustainable operations, ownership culture, and cross-functional knowledge management, he organizes teams around platform, analytics engineering, and DataOps to maximise business value. A pragmatic engineer-manager, he still ships code and jokes about “submitting PRs to universe/earth,” reflecting a curious, hands-on approach to solving hard data problems.
