Augusto Freitas E Silva
Founding Software Engineer at Endform
Stockholm, Sweden
Summary
👤
SeniorAugusto Freitas E Silva is a Senior Software Engineer based in Stockholm with 11 years of hands-on experience building backend systems across Java, Python, Ruby, and JavaScript ecosystems. He has a strong track record of refactoring and creating microservices and scripting automation for media and notifications, having shipped backend work at companies from MyMixtapez to Zettle and Mentimeter. Comfortable across databases and datastores (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Neo4J), he favors pragmatic language choice and clean service boundaries rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. A lifelong learner who began in Java and grew into scripting and Python-heavy stacks, he brings both deep legacy-system experience and modern microservice design. Notably, his international background—from building public-agency reporting systems in Brazil to delivering SaaS features in Sweden—gives him a practical, product-focused perspective on engineering trade-offs.
