Summary
👤
SeniorAugusto Maia is a Solution Engineering Lead based in San Francisco with 12 years of experience building and scaling developer ecosystems and developer relations programs. He has led global, cross-disciplinary teams at Autodesk—driving SDK and platform releases, beta programs with high NPS, and developer onboarding across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia—and now leads solution engineering at Canva. Augusto blends hands-on engineering roots (C++, .NET, ObjectARX) with strategic product go-to-market work, liaising across engineering, marketing, legal, and finance to operationalize developer-focused launches. He has a technical master’s in software engineering and an MBA in marketing, which he uses to align technical priorities with business outcomes. Known for reducing onboarding time through standardized samples and support tooling, he’s comfortable managing remote, culturally diverse teams and complex release plans. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English, and often bridges regional developer needs with global platform strategy.
