Summary
🤩
Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAurélien Lourot is a versatile software engineer with over fifteen years of experience spanning safety-critical embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, web frontends, AI and robotics. He blends low-level C++ expertise (real-time, drivers, embedded) with Python-led backend and ML/robotics integration, and modern TypeScript front-end work—frequently shipping full-stack solutions and deployment pipelines. Aurélien has worked across startups, small studios and large organizations (including Canonical and TomTom), and in recent roles has built AI RAG apps, robot control prototypes and firmware for novel input devices. He contributes to and maintains open-source tooling (notably vike-vue) and has a pragmatic, detail-oriented approach—strong opinions loosely held and a bias toward action. Based in Berlin, he pairs deep engineering fundamentals with a curiosity for physics and software design, often connecting research-grade tools (MuJoCo, PyBullet, HuggingFace) to production-ready systems.
