Vilnius, Vilnius County, Lithuania
Summary
👤
SeniorAurimas Bachanovicius is a Senior Software Engineer based in Vilnius with nine years of experience building backend services and evolving into cloud-native DevOps practices. He has progressed from PHP-based web and CMS work to designing scalable REST services and production-ready infrastructure using Kubernetes, Helm, AWS/Azure, Docker, Traefik, Prometheus and Elasticsearch. At Metasite he moved through junior to senior roles, authoring CI/CD pipelines, optimizing PHP-FPM/Nginx setups and sharing knowledge through meetups and team mentoring. Comfortable across the full stack, he combines pragmatic engineering with an operator’s mindset—often bridging application code and deployment concerns to speed delivery and reliability. His GitHub and public profiles reflect a steady focus on practical, production-ready tooling rather than headline open-source projects.
