Summary
👤
SeniorAury Cifuentes is an investor and operator with 11 years of experience building and scaling teams across finance and venture capital in the San Francisco Bay Area. She currently serves as Senior Associate at How Women Invest, where she focuses on early-stage, women-led startups, and previously sourced and evaluated B2B SaaS opportunities at Plug and Play’s Ventures and Future Commerce Fund. Her background includes leading and coaching a global trading support team at Bloomberg, giving her a strong operational and risk-aware lens when assessing founder execution and go-to-market strategy. She has hands-on due diligence experience from a VC fellowship at 2045 Capital and a BS in Economics from The College of New Jersey. Known for combining analytical rigor with founder empathy, she often bridges enterprise partnerships and startup product-market fit. A minor personal quirk—her GitHub bio reads “a simple cat”—hints at a pragmatic, unpretentious approach to work.
